International Sales Manager

In a Nutshell:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the markets assigned by the International Sales Director by actively developing business opportunities, strengthening relationships with distributors and clients, and expanding the company’s presence on the ground. The role focuses on hands-on market development and day-to-day sales activities, requiring strong relationship-building skills, cultural awareness, and a proactive, field-driven approach.

Key Responsibility's of the Role:
DELIVERY
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international partners.
- Ensure smooth order fulfilment by analysing gaps, addressing issues, and acting as a liaison between Customer Service and the client.
- Reviewing current sales and customer development in all sectors of the market primarily looking to sell through Wholesale sector and then the specification markets in each market.
- Conduct market research to understand regional trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Oversee the organisation of all company interface with customers including the local requirements.
- Establish long term customer relationships with ranging and sales collaboration in each sector matching the targeted sales direction for the countries.
- Research to understand customer segments and product levels in each market
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies to support market growth and brand visibility.
- Prepare and execute the annual sales budgets and monthly sales forecasts for the assigned markets.
- Monthly sales report to International Sales Director.
QUALITY
- Qualitative and quantitative research into each market and helping to establish key customer partners and products to ensure successful market growth.
- Developing and tracking KPI’s to ensure we are seeing a return on investment.
- Ensure smooth coordination of logistics, compliance, and customer service for assigned clients.
COST
- Responsible for the annual sales budget and sales forecasting for the sectors.
- Progress and regular joint visits with management and employees in the countries
- Develop short and long –term plans for the budgeted growth and monitor effectiveness.
SAFETY
- Create and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Regulations at all levels through facilitating and planning training, communication, risk assessments, and audits.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Help to support and develop staff to maximise their performance.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels, ensuring regular communication with Managers, Sales & Finance Team, and support functions.

Our International Sales Manager will have/be:
- Educated to degree level
- Fluent English Speaker
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience.
- Demonstrated experience working Independently, capable of making decisions and using initiative.
- Able to manage a team and delegate work effectively.
- Experience in the planning and execution of a sales strategy and developing and maintaining budgets.
- Multiple project management experience.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset
- Must be comfortable managing sales budgets and customer planning/interfacing with internal and customers.
- Highly organised
- Experience of Financial planning
- In-depth knowledge of marketing functions
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Effective Presentation Skills must be able to communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills across diverse cultures.
- Open minded, determined, driven and enthusiastic, team worker.
- Able to operate confidently and communicate.
- Effectively at all levels, both verbally and in a written form.

- Committed to learning and self-development.
- Must be able and willing to travel frequently internationally.
- 5 years international sales experience and with established contacts (Desirable)
